By turning that waste into energy, the portable BioCharger generates power to feed on-site charging stations, effectively closing the energy loop so you can work off-grid and keep your electric vehicles, forklifts, excavators, chainsaws, lights, and job site up and running.

The Air Burners BioCharger will accept whole logs, root balls, pallets, crates, and any other wood or vegetative waste without the need to sort, crush, or grind in advance. Today's biomass power plants are permanent facilities. So, when the volume of waste material around those facilities begins to drop, additional waste needs to be transported over greater distances at higher costs.
The BioCharger is a portable machine that can be disconnected and relocated to a new site to be set up and running in about 12 hours. It requires no permanent facilities, like buildings and smokestacks. In addition, the BioCharger air curtain burner does not require secondary fuel sources like natural gas. This reduces the cost and makes the installation easier. Currently we offer the BioCharger with a 450kwh charging station which is enough power to recharge multiple machines.

BIOCHARGER: THE INS & OUTS
The BioCharger is fully automated and can be connected to the internet via remote access. The remote access is helpful if there is ever a problem as our team can connect to your machine remotely, troubleshoot the problems and apply the fix remotely. In addition our team will get an alarm if an issue exists. Operating the BioCharger is simple, press the "green" start button and the system will go through all the internal checks, then it will look for heat from the FireBox Module. If there is heat from the FireBox Module then the generator will start and the energy will be delivered to the Battery Storage Module. If at any time during the day heat is not present from the FireBox Module then the system goes into Standby Mode. As soon as it senses heat it will start up and generate energy. At the end of day you push the "Red" stop button and the system goes into shut down mode, ready for another day. The Battery Storage Module (BSM) can be used anytime day or night but the general operating procedure is to eliminate waste all day which sends energy to the BSM. At the end of the work day your battery powered machines are connected to the BSM and recharged, ready in the morning for a days work on "free" energy. The BioCharger closes the energy loop so you can work off grid and charge your vehicles, equipment, and power tools.

RECHARGED AND READY TO GO
The energy generated during the workday is transferred and stored at the Battery Storage Module where your fleet of battery-powered machines can recharge. The BioCharger creates and holds 400 to 700 kW per day (depending on options chosen), more than enough energy to recharge three or six machines. When you arrive at the job site the next day, everything will be fully-charged and ready to go. The power remaining in the storage batteries will be enough to start the BioCharger and continue the cycle.

Naturally powerful, the BioCharger eliminates up to 10 tons of clean wood and vegetative waste per hour while generating enough electricity to recharge at least four machines at night. Extracted heat gets funneled into the Power Module, where working fluid expands in the Organic Rankine Cycle generator. The energized fluid spins a turbine creating electricity that feeds and charges batteries.
The Battery Storage Module stores the energy created during the work day and recharges the battery-powered machines after work. The Air Burners BioCharger creates and stores 400 to 700 kWh per day-enough power to recharge at least four machines. Your battery-powered machines and tools will be up and running the next day, and the residual power from the storage batteries will start the BioCharger and continue the cycle.
Performance-tested by air quality agencies worldwide, such as the US EPA, UK EA, Environment Canada, and the Australian Environmental Agency, this air curtain burner reduces harmful black carbon emissions, and produces soil-restorative biochar as a byproduct.
